Quality Manager BESS

Role Description The Quality Manager – BESS is a full-time, on-site role based in Binh Duong, Vietnam. This position oversees quality planning, implementation, and continuous improvement for battery energy storage system production and related processes. Daily responsibilities include defining and maintaining quality standards, developing and auditing inspection procedures, analyzing quality data, and coordinating root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformities. The role collaborates closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet regulatory, customer, and internal specifications, and supports qualification of materials and components. The Quality Manager also leads internal and external quality audits, trains team members on quality tools and requirements, and prepares reports and documentation for customers and management.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF, FMEA, control plans, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions).
• Experience in battery energy storage systems, power electronics, or related energy/industrial manufacturing environments.
• Skills in data analysis, statistical process control, and use of quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to develop and implement inspection procedures, testing protocols, and incoming/outgoing quality controls.
• Experience coordinating internal and external audits and managing supplier quality performance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related technical field.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead quality initiatives.
• Proficiency in English; familiarity with Vietnamese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
