Quality Data Analyst

Job Description

• Data Visualization: Hands-on experience developing corporate-grade dashboards, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau . Design, build, and maintain automated, interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau for plant managers, engineers, and executive leadership.
• Create real-time data alerts for critical shop-floor anomalies (e.g., sudden spikes in component rejection rates).
• Spreadsheets: Master-level efficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Macros)
• Track, analyze, and report daily/weekly/monthly Manufacturing KPIs including First Pass Yield (FPY), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), scrap rates, and equipment downtime.
• Perform root-cause analysis on structural defects or test failures by correlating SPI (Solder Paste Inspection), AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), and X-Ray data with production parameters.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators and business metrics, Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience:2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in an EMS, PCBA, or high-tech manufacturing environment. [1, 2, 3]
