KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases;
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools;
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet the day-by-day needs;
- QC should able to perform Test Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Android, iOS and back-end systems;
- Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team;
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions;
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts;
- Oversee the development of automation test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java and JavaScript;
- Utilize automation testing frameworks, tools, and best practices to drive team efficiency and productivity;
- Training & Mentoring of QC team members;
- Report daily progress/issues to management and client representatives;
- Other related duties as assigned;
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields;
- 5+ years of experience in manual testing and 3+ years of experience in automation testing;
- 3+ years of experience with leaders position for team size >=4 member;
- Experience working in the Ecommerce/ Shopify/ Magento/ Payment domains;
- Knowledge and understanding of end-user behavior on e-commerce platforms;
- Strong understanding of software development and quality testing methodologies;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Good logical and system thinking;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Experience in API testing: using Postman and Swagger;
- Familiar with SQL;
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates with testing-related certifications are preferred;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Willingness to learn new skills related to automation testing, performance testing, etc
