Job Description
Job Overview
• We are looking for a Sub Leader of Automation QC Team who have experience in working on different platforms to ensure the products are working properly.
• An Automation QC Sub Leader will be responsible for guiding our automation testing efforts, leading a team of skilled engineers, and ensuring the efficient and effective testing of our web applications and APIs. If you have a strong background in automation testing with Java, API like Google API, Jira API, Playwright, Selenium Web driver...; Networking, Robot framework, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibility
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases;
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet the day by day needs;
- QC should able to perform Test Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Android, Ios and backend systems;
- Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team; Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions;
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts;
- Oversee the development of automation test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java and JavaScript;
- Utilize automation testing frameworks, tools, and best practices to drive team efficiency and productivity;
- Training & Mentoring of QC team members;
- Report daily progress/issues to management and client representatives;
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience leading an automation testing team of 5 or more members.
- At least 5 years of experience in Web and Mobile (iOS/Android) testing, including mobile apps/games.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, or similar automation tools.
- Strong experience in web testing (portal web, online banking, OTP, authentication flows, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and security testing.
- Strong understanding of Non-Functional Testing (NFR) and Security Testing.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to use English in reading and writing (test cases, bug reports, documentation). Speaking is not mandatory.
- Experience with game testing, gameplay logic, security logic, or mobile games is a strong plus.
