Job Description
We are seeking a ServiceNow Tester (QA Engineer) to support testing activities in ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to work effectively with business users and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Perform Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, and system configurations.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure solution quality.
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project discussions.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Experience in web application testing.
- Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, including creating test cases and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Experience with at least one test automation tool or framework.
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
- Experience writing test cases, test scenarios, and executing test plans.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, business users, and technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ServiceNow platform or ServiceNow projects.
- Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL concepts.
- Experience in API testing (Postman, SoapUI).
- Experience with test automation tools or ServiceNow ATF.
- ServiceNow CSA certification or willingness to pursue certification.
