Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and industry partners
  • Oversee risk assessment, pricing, and policy issuance for Techlines (nationwide), Property & Casualty insurance products in the North of Vietnam.
  • Monitor and analyze Property and Casualty threat trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform product development and risk management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and external regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (claims, legal, IT, actuarial, etc.) to deliver comprehensive Property and Casualty risk solutions

Job Summary

  • P&C Deputy UW Manager is responsible for Chubb's Techlines insurance portfolio, overseeing underwriting, risk assessment, and product development for techlines-related risks. This role requires deep expertise in Techlines risk management, insurance solutions, and the evolving threat landscape.
  • The Deputy UW Manager also oversees the underwriting operations and portfolio management of Fire and Casualty products in the North of Vietnam, collaborating with brokers and clients, and driving product innovation in response to market trends and regulatory changes.

This position involves close collaboration with clients, brokers, and internal teams to provide tailored solutions and expert guidance. It requires strong technical expertise and a commitment to maintaining Chubb's reputation for expert craftsmanship in specialty insurance

Qualifications

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field (required)

  • Experience:

Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in underwriting insurance products

Demonstrated track record in risk assessment, portfolio management, and client/broker relationship management

  • In-depth understanding of Property and Casualty insurance products (specifically CAR, EAR, Fire, Public and Product Liability)
  • Strong grasp of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and portfolio management

  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and industry partners
