Project Manager (Banking experience) - UP TO 70M

Location: Hanoi/ HCM

1. RESPONSIBILITY

●Lead the development team to ensure that assigned duties meet the business requirements and the company's objectives

●Manage the end-to-end delivery of banking / financial services projects (core banking, digital banking, payment, lending, cards, or similar) from initiation and planning through go-live and post go-live support

●Effectively communicate project status, risks, and milestones to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in fluent English

●Plan, prioritize, and review the user stories, technical design, and deliverables

●Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs

●Build and manage a schedule to ensure work is identified, assigned, and completed on time

●Successfully manage the relationship with the client through clear communication patterns

●Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the entire process

●Perform risk management to minimize project risks

●Identify, track, manage, prevent, and resolve any project issues that may occur

●Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

●Work directly with banking and financial institution clients, both local and overseas

●Ensure the project complies with the client's regulatory, information security, audit, and change-management requirements, and align delivery with their business, IT, risk, and compliance teams

●Involved in the recruiting of project staff

●Training and guiding your team members

●Motivate team members

●Manage team size 10 - 20 members at least

2. REQUIREMENTS

●At least 5 years of experience in managing technically complex delivery projects

●Mandatory: proven experience delivering projects for banks (core banking, digital banking, payment, lending, cards, wealth, or similar), with at least one full project lifecycle owned in the Project Manager role

●Solid understanding of banking business processes and of the security, compliance, and data protection standards applied by financial institutions

●Strong technical background (Prior technical experience as Developer / BA / Tester)

●Experience working with banking stakeholders (business, IT, risk, compliance, audit) and with formal project governance and documentation requirements

●PMP, PRINCE2, or Professional Scrum Master certification is an advantage

●Good communication skills: can lead group discussions (public speaking), create a teamwork-orientated environment, etc.

●Good project management skills: estimating, planning, organizing, leading

●Highly responsible, well-organized, communicative, pro-active, dare-to-lead attitude
