As part of our factory expansion and business growth, CNI is currently looking for qualified and motivated candidates to join our team as:
PROJECT ENGINEER
The Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Management team and relevant departments to coordinate and monitor project execution, ensuring that project activities are carried out in accordance with schedule, quality, technical, and contractual requirements.
2. THE JOB'S MAIN PURPOSE
Responsible for carrying out assigned project management activities and coordinating with relevant departments to monitor and control project execution in accordance with Manual requirements, applicable codes and standards, company regulations, contractual requirements, and specific assignments from the Project Management Manager.
The Project Engineer will support the PM/PMM/PMDM in project planning, progress monitoring, documentation control, coordination, and issue follow-up throughout project execution.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive assigned projects from the Project Management Manager and carry out assigned project management activities.
- In liaison with client and DE, QCI, QCM, WSM, Procurement department to control project progress, Project documentation.
- Prepare, update, monitor, and expedite the project schedule and progress by using information provided by the Design Engineer, Purchasing, Production Engineer, Site Manager, Work Shop Manager, and report to the PM/PMM/PMDM.
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
- In liaison with client, assigned personnel of project and Design & Proposal, Procurement, Workshop and Quality department for execute project to complete project satisfy with delivery time and quality requirements.
· Other scope of work as specified by the Project Management Manager.
· Assist in controlling procurement and fabrication within the project budget and contract limits.
- Periodically report on project progress and risks (if any) to the Deputy Manager/Manager/Board of Directors.
4. CAPABILITY STANDARDS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
General Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Project Management.
- English: Good command of English, particularly in technical communication, email correspondence, and project documentation.
- Experience: minimum of 1 year in an equivalent position.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of pressure equipment, HRSG, fabrication processes, and relevant technical requirements for project execution.
Skills:
- Project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and coordination.
- Good skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and/or Primavera P6.
- Project documentation and reporting.
- Communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Abilities:
- Ability to develop, update, monitor, and follow up on project schedules.
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal departments, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and follow up on project issues, delays, and risks.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Working Conditions and Environment:
· Workplace: Factory office, Street No. 4, Ong Keo Industrial Park, Dai Phuoc Commune, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam
· Working hours: Office hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
· Provided equipment: Laptop and necessary office supplies
· Business travel: Depending on project requirements
