Job Description
- Lead and coordinate the administrative procedures, approvals, permits and licenses required for new real estate development projects.
- Develop and manage the permitting roadmap, application schedule and approval milestones for each project.
- Prepare, collect and coordinate project documents required for submission to competent authorities, working with internal teams and external consultants.
- Act as the main project contact for relevant authorities, consultants and service providers in relation to project approvals and permitting procedures.
- Follow up on application status, authority comments and outstanding requirements to ensure approvals are obtained in line with the project timeline.
- Coordinate with Development, Construction, Design, Finance, Operations and other relevant functions to ensure project information and technical documents are available for permitting purposes.
- Identify permitting dependencies, procedural bottlenecks and potential delays, and propose practical action plans to keep the project on schedule.
- Maintain records and status reports of applications, approvals, permits and key project milestones.
- Support feasibility and project planning from a permitting and implementation perspective.
- Coordinate with Legal where legal interpretation, legal risk assessment or formal legal advice is required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Project Management, Law, Construction, or other fields related to real estate development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate project development, legal project management.
- Proven track record of working directly with government authorities, legal advisors, or permitting agencies.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, administrative procedures, construction permits, planning regulations, and compliance requirements for real estate projects.
- Ability to identify procedural dependencies and regulatory risks in project implementation.
- Project management and multi-stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with authorities and consultants.
- Strong organizational, planning, and progress-tracking abilities.
- Analytical skills for legal risk assessment and practical problem-solving.
- Languages: Proficiency in English for communication and legal document review (preferred).
- IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
