PROJECT COORDINATOR - BUV Global Citizen Challenge 2026

Location: GPA Office, Hanoi & British University Vietnam (BUV), Ecopark

About the Program

BUV Global Citizen Challenge 2026 is an experiential learning program for students at British University Vietnam, designed to develop key competencies in:

Teamwork – Leadership – Collaboration – Community Engagement – Global Citizenship

I. Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Program Preparation

  • Coordinate overall project preparation and ensure all deliverables are completed on time.
  • Support the recruitment, scheduling, briefing, and allocation of project staff, including counselors and logistics team members.
  • Organize staff training and ensure all team members understand the program objectives, activity flow, roles, and operating procedures.
  • Develop detailed operational materials based on the approved program framework, including the agenda, activity flow, staffing plan, checklists, and supporting documents.
  • Coordinate logistics, including materials, equipment, printing, activity props, venue setup, and other operational requirements.
  • Liaise with GPA, BUV, and relevant stakeholders to confirm arrangements and resolve preparation issues.

2. Onsite Program Coordination

  • Be onsite at BUV to coordinate and oversee program delivery.
  • Manage the program timeline and ensure activities run according to schedule and objectives.
  • Coordinate GPA staff, counselors, logistics personnel, students, and relevant partners.
  • Support indoor and outdoor activities, reflection sessions, team-building activities, and collaborative challenges.
  • Monitor materials, equipment, venue setup, and staff deployment.
  • Respond promptly to operational issues, schedule changes, staffing concerns, and participant needs.
  • Ensure the program is delivered safely, professionally, and positively.

3. Post-Program Follow-up

  • Consolidate participant feedback, operational notes, photos, and project records.
  • Prepare a brief post-program report covering outcomes, key issues, and recommendations.
  • Complete project documentation, expense records, and handover materials as required.
  • Support any necessary follow-up with project staff and stakeholders.

  • II. Working Schedule

    Total project commitment: 7 working days, including preparation, staff training, onsite delivery, and post-program follow-up.

    Onsite program dates at BUV:

    • 13–14 October 2026: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
    • 15 October 2026: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Preparation and staff training will take place at the GPA office. Selected pre- and post-program tasks may be completed remotely.

    III.Compensation

    Project fee: Competitive project-based compensation, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

    Payment will be made upon satisfactory completion of the agreed scope of work and no later than 10 days after project completion.

    IV. Candidate Requirements

    • Previous experience in project, event, or program coordination; experience in education, student programs, team-building, or experiential learning is preferred.
    • Experience coordinating and assigning tasks to project teams or event staff.
    • Strong organization, operations, and logistics management skills.
    • Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to handle onsite issues effectively.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
    • Good command of English, approximately IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
    • Experience working in an international education environment is an advantage.
