Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with department heads to define goals and gather operational requirements
Forecast expenses and develop budget plans
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines to maintain a risk-free workplace
Assess machinery capacity to guarantee smooth production flow and minimize downtime
Identify and allocate required resources (manpower, raw materials, etc.)
Strive to optimize manufacturing operations by balancing productivity growth with cost efficiency
Design and coordinate workflows to meet quality standards and delivery timelines without compromising safety
Guide, mentor, and inspire team members to enhance performance
Define and track productivity targets for the team
Oversee and appraise the performance of production staff
Supervise daily production activities and troubleshoot issues promptly
Provide consistent updates to senior management regarding challenges and operational concerns

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
At least 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role within a multinational manufacturing setting
Strong understanding of quality systems as well as health & safety compliance
Solid knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and performance evaluation practices
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Skilled in analyzing and reporting key production KPIs
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP platforms
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership capabilities
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong decision-making ability with a focus on achieving results
