Job Description

Position Summary

Coordinate with and support distributors to drive market development, tendering activities, and sales & marketing initiatives in Vietnam.

Position Responsibilities - General

  • Coordinate with and support distributors to drive market development, tendering processes, and sales & marketing activities in Vietnam for interventional cardiology products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision – Interventional Cardiology Department – Related Department in Hospitals, physicians, and distributors.
  • Support clinical activities, workshops, Marketing Activities/ Programs related to interventional cardiology products (e.g., IVUS, DCB, etc.).
  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to market expansion
  • Ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives and alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide regular feedback to internal teams.

Position Responsibilities - Specific

  • To be based in Hanoi, with the flexibility for relocation within Vietnam where justified by business needs and company requirements
  • Drive sales performance and achieve assigned targets for interventional cardiology products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including physicians, cath lab staff, and hospital department
  • Work closely with distributors to execute sales plans, manage accounts, and ensure effective market coverage.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in assigned territories.
  • Manage tender processes in collaboration with distributors, including preparation and submission of required documentation.
  • Planning and organizing weekly / daily schedule to call on existing accounts and establishes/ develop a new or potential accounts
  • Performs product presentations / in services, product evaluations to existing and new or potential accounts
  • Support Distributors for tender submission
  • Ensures all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards, and that documented processes, procedures and internal quality management system are followed and adhered to
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Presents sales reviews including market share analysis, sales forecast and territory management
  • Develops strong KOL relationship and identification of young upcoming doctors for business continuity
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, promotion, etc. Provide such market information promptly to the manager
  • Provide recommendations on strategy, service, and policy based on market trends and competitive insights, working closely with distributors, while ensuring alignment with Ministry of Health regulations, policies, and strategic directions
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
  • Assist the manager in enhancing the effectiveness of marketing activities, including the organization and execution of sales and marketing events (e.g., workshops, exhibition booths)
  • Assist the manager in the development of new products with KOL, product/clinical trials and registries
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in interventional cardiology or cath lab environment.
  • Basic understanding of interventional cardiology procedures (e.g., PCI, IVUS, DCB) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Good coordination and collaboration skills, especially when working with distributors and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, and willing to learn.
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
