Domain Exp:  Energy, Battery, BESS and/or Power Management (must-have)

Client: Singapore-based client, engagement on an hourly consulting basis

Working arrangement: Fully remote; fluent English required

Must-have: Candidates must have hands-on experience in relevant domains such as batteries, energy, EV charging stations, and related technologies

Project duration: September 2026 to January 2027

Payment/Acceptance: Tasks will be reviewed and accepted on an hourly basis

JD Product Owner Consultant 

Key Responsibilities

•  Provide expertise in battery operations, BESS, power and energy management, including charging/discharging, SoC, SoH and battery performance.
•  Understand and define the business meaning of battery and energy sensor data, and support data schema and data mapping with the existing Data team.
•  Define and prioritize EMS use cases and featur
•  es, from battery/energy monitoring and energy-flow management to charging/discharging control and optimization.
•  Translate battery and energy operations into functional requirements, business rules and operational scenarios.
•  Act as the Domain PO for EMS, working closely with Technical and Data teams to validate the solution.
•  In later phases, support energy simulation and energy-source traceability.

Requirements

•  Strong practical experience in Energy, Battery, BESS and/or Power Management.
•  Experience with EMS or similar energy management solutions.
•  Strong understanding of battery operations and energy-flow concepts.
•  Experience as a PO, BA or Domain Expert in energy/battery-related projects.
•  Strong communication and ability to work with technical teams.
• Nice to Have
•  Experience in Smart Grid, Microgrid, Renewable Energy, EV Charging or Energy Optimization.
•  Experience with energy simulation or open-source/commercial EMS platforms.
