Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Business Management:
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to position the product and meet key business goals (sales, profit, market share).
- Manage the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget and monitor product expenditure in alignment with approved plans.
Market Analysis & Product Development:
- Conduct market analysis, competitive assessments, and customer research to shape product strategy.
- Manage the product life cycle, including new product launches, line extensions, and optimization of branding and pricing strategies.
- Facilitate market intelligence strategies and prepare competitive countermeasures.
Integrated Marketing & Communications:
- Design and execute integrated advertising, promotional, and communication campaigns.
- Build and maintain close relationships with key customers to enhance brand equity.
Sales Support & Training:
- Forecast sales and provide tactical support, promotional materials, and training (product knowledge, objection handling) to the field force to ensure sales targets are achieved.
Operations & Compliance:
- Coordinate with Logistics/Operations to ensure timely product availability and manage administrative requirements.
- Liaise with the Regulatory Department to monitor product registration/visa status and ensure all business activities comply with company and industry codes of conduct.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Pharmacy. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical Industry is mandatory.
- Highly motivated with a strong results-oriented drive; possesses creativity, professionalism, enthusiasm, and a strong teamwork spirit. Must demonstrate reliability, excellent communication skills, independence, confidence, and the ability to effectively work under pressure.
