Product Design Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities

• Create Product Designs Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software, particularly Creo Parametric.
• Support Product Development Assist in transforming ideas and concepts into functional product designs.
• Prepare Technical Documentation Create engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical reports.
• Test and Improve Designs Support basic testing, analyze results, and implement design improvements.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Resolve Design Issues Identify and solve problems arising during the design or production stages.
• Follow Standards and Guidelines Ensure that designs comply with company, safety, and industry standards.
• Support Production Assist production teams in resolving design-related issues during manufacturing.
• Perform Tasks Assigned by the Functional Manager Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities. To optimize and balance capacity across product lines, the manager may adjust the scope of work according to individual capabilities.
• Work Independently and Mentor Less-Experienced Team Members Work independently while supporting and mentoring colleagues with less experience. Establish structured approaches to design problem-solving, analyze technical validations, document observations, define corrective actions, and provide technical guidance to teams and team members.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Basic knowledge of CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA
• Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings for various manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with tolerances and advanced GD&T
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and VBA
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong teamwork and willingness to collaborate with others
