Presales Engineer (Network/Security)

Navigos Search's client is looking for Presales Engineer (Cybersecurity/Network products) for their team in Hanoi.

Key Responsibilities

• Present cybersecurity/Network solutions at company events, customer meetings, and partner sessions.
• Provide technical responses and documentation to support partners in bidding and tender processes.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) tailored to customer requirements.
• Advise the Sales team on product selection that aligns with customer needs and budget constraints; respond to Sales inquiries and solution-related questions.
• Analyze customer requirements and consult on appropriate security solutions and architectures.
• Participate in customer meetings to address technical questions and clarify security features and capabilities.
• Support partners in responding to customer technical inquiries and pre-sales requirements.
• Advise implementation engineers on necessary testing activities during Proof of Concept (POC) phases.
• Develop solution documentation packages, including: Solution architecture diagrams, Connectivity models, Competitive comparisons, Product positioning, Sample BOMs, Solution benefits and limitations, Technical specification matrices
• Collect and provide competitive intelligence on rival solutions to the Sales and Product Management teams.
• Liaise with vendor/manufacturer engineers to stay updated on products, solutions, and BOM design methodologies.
• Participate in vendor/manufacturer training programs (online and offline) as required.
• Obtain required consulting and sales certifications from vendors/manufacturers as requested by the Company.
• Develop practical guidelines and best practices for researching, designing, and consulting on cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or cybersecurity.
• English proficiency sufficient to read, understand, and research technical documentation.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of network architecture and fundamental design principles (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of information security principles and common security controls.
• Hands-on knowledge in at least one of the following domains: Network security, Endpoint protection, Web security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud security
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and deployment methodologies.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong teamwork skills with a collaborative and supportive mindset.
• High adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-evolving technology environment.
