Responsibilities
1. Mastermind port business growth strategies to meet port business goals and objectives monthly,
quarterly and yearly.
2. Build and nurture client relationships in order to continue winning new contracts for the port.
3. Negotiate new contract terms with new clients.
4. Attend relevant networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate port business
growth.
5. Ensure that the port complies with contractual obligations as well as legal regulations.
6. Works with other department heads to determine & carry out company goals and KPIs.
7. Conduct market research, analyze to form up strategic business decisions and strategic plans.
8. Oversee branding and marketing endeavors to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals.
9. Take a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise.
10. Manage both internal and external customer relationships.
11. Developing the commercial strategy and the commercial direction of projects.
12. Monitor the progress of customer progression at the Port during contract time.
13. Oversee the performance of the commercial team, provide direction to the port commercial team.
14. Pursuing new business opportunities.
15. Monitoring budgeting expenses.
16. Identifying and managing commercial risks
