The Opportunity

As a Planning Specialist at Hitachi, Ltd., you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and achieve business objectives across various departments.

How Do You Make Impact

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis and market research to identify trends, forecast demands, and support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within scope.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing planning insights, performance metrics, and recommendations for senior management.
• Facilitate planning meetings and workshops, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the implementation of new systems and initiatives by providing planning expertise and guidance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards throughout the planning lifecycle.
  
  

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a planning, project management, or analytical role, preferably within a large-scale organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
