Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai is a Forbes Five-Star winner for six consecutive years. About The Role

  • To assist the Director of People & Culture or Assistant Director of People & Culture with the direction of all aspects of the People & Culture division including benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment and retention of staff, communication to staff, career development of staff, wage & hour compliance, training, workers compensation and legal matters related to hotel employees.
  • Due to Vietnam restrictions on visa and work permit, this position is open for Vietnamese citizens only.

What You Will Do

  • Act as an objective 3rd party in employee counseling, problem solving or conflict situation and communicate to Director of People & Culture any circumstances that may raise legal issues for the hotel
  • Identify, analyze and initiate appropriate actions to resolve any unsatisfactory pattern of employee turnover.
  • Manage the financial issues for the P&C budget including benefits, labor & salary reports and plan cost effective events within the P&C budget guidelines.
  • The ability to interview and refer qualified applicants to Department Heads and Division Heads.
  • The ability to maintain the HR System including input, output and report processing.
  • The ability to possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the office
  • The ability to generate HR reports required by home office.
  • The ability to provide assistance relating to employee relations such as direct line committee organization, employee communication, bulletin boards, employee of the month program, employee picnics, parties and general meetings.
  • The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • The ability to assist the Learning & Development Manager in training employees on behalf of People & Culture in various areas, including Benefit Programs.
  • The ability to assist management and line employees with any concerns or questions.
  • The ability to support and ensure compliance of Visa/Work Permit & Temporary Residence Card for Expats
  • Comply with Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Coordinate with DoP&C in People & Culture Success Levels & ensure P&C Team hold accountable for supporting a robust culture on property & all P&C program is delivered at consistently high quality

What You Bring

  • At least 2 years experience in Human Resources Manager position at other luxury hotels and resorts
  • Fluent English Communication Skills
