Operations Manager

is currently supporting a in hiring a hands-on Terminal Operations Manager to oversee and optimize day-to-day plant, terminal and storage operations in Vietnam. You can based in Ha Noi or Hai Phong.

Job Description

• Monitor, supervise and manage the operation of the Company's plants and terminals in accordance with the Company's regulation
• Monitor and improve the HSSE process of all terminals to meet HSSE performance of the Operation Department
• Ensure that the operational standards, in line with the overall company strategy plan
• Identify and implement process improvements for productivity optimization
• Manage the terminal/terminal operation, supervise and implement HSE process, procurement planning, production, inventory control, maintenance and staff recruitment
• Responsibility for communication and adherence with company guidelines and policies
• Supervise and implement HSE process off all terminals
• Manage and supervise the Terminals & Terminal Managers. Monitor and manage fuel consumption, usage of material, in accordance with the Company's policy.
• Manage the system at Terminals to comply with the company policies, rules
• Improve efficiency within the existing operation's procedure, update, improvement to operation process which is beneficial and suitable to the Company's business
• To coordinate with Sales department, Accounting and Financial Department and the Human Resources to make recommendations to BOM for operation staffs rotation among terminals
• To implement and control terminal operation activities to ensure the operation is met as per KPI approval.
• Manage and implement new projects and construction at terminals.
• Recommend BOM on plans of signing contractor contracts for repair, replacement, maintenance of machinery, equipment, facilities and constructions works of terminals to ensure the quality and cost efficiency
• Co-ordinate with clients, suppliers, shipping agents, relevant authorities to plan smoothly operation and replenishment. Support terminal manager to keep in touch with commune and related government departments to meet requirements concerned to terminal
• Co-ordinate and support the sale/marketing department to ensure smooth delivery, to satisfy and meet customer requirement, ensure to meet the objective and target of the company business
• Coordinate with Salesman for monthly and weekly forecast to support production plan among terminals.
• Control the inventory of all products, raw material, various oils in terminal. Set up and propose the action process to secure inventory gain/loss at terminal
• For the project management (new project or any major repair work carried out by outsource contractor), ensure project activity is smoothly carried out as plan. Monitoring project progress and monitoring all the safety requirement (HSE) are fully complied by both contractors and terminal staff. Project plan and schedule are monitored and ensure to project in good progress and regularly updated to BOM
• Supervise and implement company bonus scheme and utilizing these tools to improve terminal's operation performance

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Automation / Thermal Engineering
• Background in , , , ,
• At least five years of experience in an operational management position. Deep understanding of the Logistics, Planning, Supply Chain shall be advantages
• Good English and Vietnamese
• Strong leadership skills in order to efficiently manage the terminal organization and HSSE to ensure a good and secure working environment
• Acknowledge catching, analyzing the company objectives and strategy and implementing to terminal operation.
• Ability of communication and presentation.
• An analytical nature and good negotiation and organization skills
• Willing to go on business trip
• Understanding the Safety, Health, Environment management system.
