JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications using ReactNative. The role owns the mobile delivery lifecycle from solution design and engineering through testing, application submission, publishing, monitoring, and production support.

The successful candidate will bring at least 8 years of software development experience, strong mobile engineering expertise, and practical experience integrating APIs and backend services. PHP capability for API integration or development is a secondary skill. Experience with Drupal and UI/UX is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Engineering

• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using ReactNative for iOS and Android.

• Define and apply scalable mobile architecture, reusable components, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, reliability, accessibility, and user experience across supported devices and operating-system versions.

• Troubleshoot complex defects, production issues, and platform-specific behavior, and drive issues through to resolution.

• Implement secure mobile development practices, including appropriate handling of authentication, authorization, data storage, secrets, and application configuration.

API Integration & Backend Services

• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, enterprise services, and third-party platforms.

• Design, develop, enhance, or support APIs and backend services in PHP where required.

• Collaborate with backend developers and architects on interface contracts, error handling, security, observability, and performance.

• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation for APIs, integrations, configurations, and support procedures.

Firebase & Mobile Operations

• Implement and manage relevant Firebase services, including Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Authentication, Remote Config, and Performance Monitoring.

• Use application telemetry, crash reports, performance data, and user feedback to identify issues and guide continuous improvement.

• Support production monitoring, incident investigation, defect resolution, and post-release stabilization.

Application Submission & Publishing

• Own or support the end-to-end release process for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Prepare release builds, signing configurations, certificates, provisioning profiles, store metadata, and submission packages.

• Manage application versioning, phased or controlled releases where applicable, updates, and post-release support.

• Address store review feedback and ensure submissions comply with applicable Apple and Google platform requirements.

Collaboration, Quality & Leadership

• Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, testers, and technical stakeholders to translate needs into maintainable solutions.

• Contribute to technical design, estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

• Conduct code reviews, promote engineering standards, and mentor less-experienced developers where appropriate.

• Build quality into delivery through automated testing, peer review, CI/CD, release controls, and technical documentation.

• Communicate risks, dependencies, technical trade-offs, and delivery progress clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining production mobile applications using ReactNative.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern mobile development practices.

• Demonstrated experience integrating APIs and backend services into mobile applications.

• Working experience with PHP for API development, integration, enhancement, or support.

• Hands-on experience with Firebase services relevant to mobile delivery and operations.

• Practical experience submitting and publishing mobile applications to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Sound understanding of mobile application architecture, lifecycle management, security, performance, testing, and release management.

• Experience with Git, pull requests, code review, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working within Agile delivery teams and collaborating across product, design, engineering, and quality disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Drupal CMS development, configuration, or headless/API-based integration.

• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience collaborating through tools such as Figma.

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Experience with mobile accessibility, analytics, deep linking, push notifications, and monitoring.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

REQUIREMENT

● Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

● Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience (Min 5 years of experience in Mobile Developer)

● Ability to work collaboratively in a team

● Experience working in Agile environments

● English proficiency required for communication.
