Location: On-site at ISB Vietnam office (eTown 2, 364 Cộng Hòa, Tân Bình, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam)

Working Hours: At this current stage - from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Vietnam time) for daily collaboration with the EU team

1. Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to ensure the continuous reliability and performance of our cloud-native trading and analytics platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, serving as a technical guardian for our production environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the health of the infrastructure while ensuring that our high-frequency data and trading services run with maximum efficiency.

This is a Linux-first role within a high-velocity build team. We need someone who isn't just a monitor but a proactive troubleshooter who can dive into code, infrastructure, and networking layers to keep the platform optimal.

2. Responsibilities

Production Oversight: Monitor and support production cloud environments, ensuring 24/7 availability for trading systems and real-time analytics.
Full-Stack Trouble shooting: Resolve complex system issues across applications, APIs, infrastructure, and networking layers.
Deployment Support: Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, reliable code deployments.
Infrastructure Optimization: Manage Linux-based infrastructure, performing fine-tuning and performance optimization to handle high-throughput workloads.
Incident Collaboration: Work closely with Backend and DevOps engineering teams to resolve production incidents and implement long-term reliability improvements.
ObservabilityEngineering: Implement and refine monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks to provide deep visibility into platform health.
Documentation: Maintain rigorous system documentation and detailed incident reports to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Skills & Experience

3. Required Skills & Experience

Systems Administration: Strong experience in Linux-based systems administration. You should be comfortable with the command line, kernel tuning, and systems-level debugging.
Automation Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Rust, or TypeScript for automating operational tasks and infrastructure management.
Cloud-NativeExpertise: Proven experience supporting distributed,cloud-nativeapplicationsina professional production environment.
Containerization: Practical familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Communication:Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for coordinating incident responses with global teams.
OperationalMindset:
Thrives in a high-pressure build environment with tight timelines.
Mandatory availability for the 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM ICT overlap window for collaboration with
the London headquarters.

4. Appreciated Skills

FinTech Domain: Experience supporting financial trading systems, capital markets technology, or high-stakes fintech platforms.
Platform Specifics: Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including specialized services for data and networking.
Real-Time Data: Experience supporting real-time data processing systems or event-driven architectures (Kafka, Redpanda).
Security & Networking: A solid understanding of VPC design, cloud security protocols, and high- performance networking architecture.
