Position: Middle/Senior AI Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and implement Generative AI (GenAI) solutions and intelligent AI agents for enterprise applications. The role focuses on building LLM-powered applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, prompt engineering workflows, and AI agent capabilities, including retrieval, grounding, and integration with enterprise systems. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with AI Leads, Data Engineers, and cross functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality AI solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Generative AI applications and AI agent features using Python and LLM technologies.

• Build and optimize RAG pipelines, including document retrieval, embeddings, vector search, and grounding mechanisms.

• Develop and refine prompts, prompt templates, and LLM workflows to improve response accuracy, relevance, and consistency.

• Implement AI agent capabilities, including tool integration, task execution, and workflow orchestration.

• Integrate LLM applications with enterprise systems and external services through REST APIs.

• Perform data preprocessing and prepare relevant information for retrieval and AI powered applications.

• Develop and execute testing and evaluation processes to assess LLM outputs, retrieval quality, and overall application performance.

• Collaborate with AI Leads and Data Engineers to integrate AI models, data pipelines, and application components.

• Apply Git, CI/CD practices, and development standards to support reliable AI application delivery.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize AI workflows, and continuously improve solution performance and reliability.

• Work closely with technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate implementation progress, and resolve development dependencies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical roles.

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing applications and integrations using REST APIs.

• Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered applications and Generative AI solutions.

• Solid understanding of Prompt Engineering, including prompt design, optimization, and testing.

• Practical experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of Embeddings, Vector Search, and Retrieval Techniques.

• Experience developing AI Agents and integrating AI capabilities into application workflows.

• Familiarity with data preprocessing and grounding techniques for LLM applications.

• Experience with AI application testing and evaluation methodologies.

• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD, and software development best practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong technical English communication skills, with the ability to explain implementation approaches, discuss technical challenges, report blockers, and collaborate effectively with international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or Azure AI Search.

• Familiarity with AI development frameworks such as Semantic Kernel or LangChain.

• Experience deploying and maintaining AI applications using Docker and cloud platforms.

• Understanding of cloud-based AI architectures and enterprise AI integration.

• Experience optimizing LLM application performance, retrieval quality, and evaluation workflows.
