  • Negotiate trade and non-trade investment based on annual SI targets per supplier, as well as additional investment based on performance or request.

2. Product Management

  • Responsible for weekly stock status tracking (fill rate and lost sales) for assigned suppliers, ensuring all Junior Buyers follow the required processes.
  • Deliver 99% accuracy in results. After a 3-week training period, independently manage people and key tasks assigned to Junior Buyers, as well as personal tasks and KPIs set by the Head of Medicine.
  • Track pricing changes (purchase price and RSP) and expiry dates, maintaining 99% accuracy for both own work and that of reporting Junior Buyers.
  • Conduct weekly stock status tracking (fill rate, lost sales, and SO trends) for own vendors and those managed by Junior Buyers.
  • Responsible for PO placement in coordination with Demand Planning and the Junior Director, reporting all POs and quantities to the Medicine Head for final approval.
  • Ensure products are restocked before reaching out-of-stock (OOS) status, maintaining 95% accuracy for tail SKUs and 100% accuracy for key SKUs, for both own suppliers and those of Junior Buyers.
  • Responsible for proposing replacement products immediately when any vendor's product goes OOS, requiring cross-functional coordination to restock replacement SKUs from any vendor.
  • Responsible for proposing NPLs (New Product Listings) for assigned vendors and sourcing NPLs as allocated, achieving a success rate above 90%.
  • Responsible for proposing RSP (Retail Selling Price) for each product, ensuring 100% competitiveness with the local competition (LC) and 30% annual growth for assigned SKUs.
  • Responsible for negotiating with vendors on lowering purchase price and expanding margins, together with the Junior Director and Head of Medicine, ensuring PMC has no negative-margin products.
  • Responsible for negotiating product returns, replacements, and returns of faulty products as requested by stores.

3. People Management

  • Allocate tasks and provide guidance to Junior Buyers in alignment with the Junior Director and Medicine Head.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution and follow-up of KPIs owned by Junior Buyers.
  • Maintain a 90% retention rate for the team, and take responsibility for each team member's career development, including promotion recommendations, compensation adjustments, and retention initiatives.
  • Take ownership of ad-hoc projects/workstreams, supporting Category Management (Medicine Head & Category Junior Director) as needed.
