Position: Mechanical Design Engineer (PU/PVC Conveyor Belting)

Work location: D20/530A Trinh Quang Nghi Street, Binh Hung Commune, Ho Chi Minh City

Reports to: Technical Manager

Role Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for PU/PVC conveyor belt solutions from design and fabrication to installation, commissioning, and operation, working closely with customers, Sales, and internal teams to deliver effective technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

• Conduct on-site surveys at customer factory to collect technical data and requirements for PU/PVC conveyor belt solutions.
• Design and develop 2D and 3D technical drawings for conveyor systems.
• Prepare technical drawings, material take-offs, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Modify and optimize designs based on technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues arising during installation, commissioning, and operation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Project, and internal teams to ensure technical requirements and project timelines are met.
• Research new materials, technologies, and design solutions to improve product quality and performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or College degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design, industrial manufacturing, or conveyor systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D design software is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills and ability to understand technical documents.
• Experience with PU/PVC conveyor belts, conveyor systems, or Food & Beverage manufacturing is preferred.
• Proactive, responsible, willing to learn, and willing to travel or work on-site when required.
