Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Specialist at ORYZ Saigon. Approximately 70% of the time will be dedicated to diverse marketing tasks, including market planning, research, communication, sales support, and other promotional activities. The remaining 30% of the time will focus on customer service, particularly the maintenance and management of our reservation system. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies, identifying trends and opportunities through market research, and facilitating effective communication to drive business growth. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal marketing or design teams (internal agency) to ensure consistency and high-quality output in all marketing communications and brand imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Execution (approx. 70% of time):

  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing/design teams (internal agency) to develop engaging marketing collateral and strategies, ensuring consistent brand representation.
  • Conduct market research to identify dining trends, potential opportunities, and competitive insights, especially within the Vietnamese cuisine segment.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and foster customer loyalty.
  • Effectively communicate with internal teams (e.g., culinary, service staff) and external partners to strengthen brand collaborations and outreach.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales promotion plans, supporting revenue goals through targeted marketing activities.
  • Analyze marketing performance data and adjust strategies to optimize results and ROI.
  • Assist with social media content management, specifically for promoting Ch Nm culture and the restaurant's core philosophy, to boost community engagement and cultural appreciation.

Customer Service and Reservation Management (approx. 30% of time):

  • Maintain and manage the restaurant's online reservation system, ensuring smooth operation and real-time updates of booking information.
  • Receive customer reservations from phone calls, online platforms, and other channels, performing effective scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Proactively confirm reservation details, guest numbers, and special requests (e.g., tea ceremony arrangements, regional seating preferences) with customers, providing professional and courteous service.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, offering prompt assistance and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in market planning, market research, and exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service, particularly in hospitality or a service-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with reservation system operations and management (training will be provided for Nm Dining's specific system).
  • Experience in collaborating effectively with internal teams or an internal agency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Vietnamese and English is highly desirable (depending on target clientele) to effectively serve customers and facilitate collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
