As a KOL Key Account Executive (Paid Ads Focus), you will play a critical role in driving Shopee's Affiliate growth by managing strategic relationships with top-tier KOLs and KOCs, while acting as a trusted advisor on paid social ads optimization. Your mission is to help creators scale performance by translating affiliate conversion data into actionable ads and growth strategies across major social platforms.
You will be part of the KOL Management Team, a core function within Shopee's Affiliate Marketing divisionone of the company's highest strategic priorities. This team operates at the intersection of performance marketing, influencer partnerships, and data-driven growth, offering a fast-paced, high-impact environment where advisory skills, analytical thinking, and execution excellence matter.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong paid ads background who want to move beyond hands-on media buying into a key account, consultative role, supporting creators to unlock sustainable, scalable affiliate revenue.
Job Description
- Advise KOLs/KOCs on social ads strategy and optimization (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) to improve affiliate conversion and ROAS.
- Analyze performance using affiliate marketing conversion tracking and reported metrics; provide clear optimization recommendations.
- Manage assigned KOLs as key accounts, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted ads advisor.
- Coordinate KOL campaigns with internal teams and partners to ensure smooth planning, execution, and alignment.
- Support KOL onboarding, campaign setup guidance, and post-campaign performance reviews.
- Share best practices, playbooks, and insights to continuously improve KOL ads performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, affiliate, and operations teams
Requirements
- Experience in social ads / performance marketing.
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing and conversion tracking.
- Ability to translate data insights into clear, practical recommendations for creators.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with conversion tracking, attribution models, and performance dashboards.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities.
- Experience working with influencers or key accounts is a plus.
- Hands-on experience running paid social ads on Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
- Background in affiliate marketing, creator monetization, or performance-based partnerships.
- Experience supporting non-technical stakeholders in ads or performance optimization.
- Knowledge of e-commerce, social commerce, or livestream selling ecosystems.
