About the Role

We are looking for a high-caliber Manufacturing Logistics Director – Future Leader to drive and transform manufacturing logistics operations in a fast-growing automotive organization.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in building a world-class manufacturing logistics system, ensuring seamless material flow from suppliers to production lines while optimizing cost, inventory, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall manufacturing logistics strategy aligned with production and business growth plans.
  
• Design and continuously improve the end-to-end material flow from supplier → inbound logistics → warehouse → production line → finished vehicle/production output.
  
• Build scalable logistics capabilities to support rapid production ramp-up and future expansion.
  
• Lead inbound logistics and material supply activities to ensure right part, right quantity, right time, right location.
  
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability and proactively manage risks related to shortages, production disruption, and supply constraints.
  
• Collaborate closely with Production, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and Transportation teams
  
• Drive warehouse productivity, space utilization, inventory accuracy, and operational safety.
  
• Develop and implement efficient material handling and warehouse processes suitable for high-volume automotive manufacturing.
  
• Own logistics cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service levels and production continuity.
  
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  
• Develop digital and smart logistics capabilities, including WMS, TMS, SAP/ERP, automation, IoT, data analytics, and real-time logistics visibility.
  
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and other functions.
  
• Foster a culture of ownership, speed, operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  
  

Requirements

Must-have

• Vietnamese nationality.
  
• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  
• 12+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing logistics, or operations.
  
• Significant leadership experience in manufacturing, automotive/OEM, industrial, electronics, FMCG, or other complex large-scale environments.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in inbound logistics, warehouse operations, material flow, production logistics, and inventory management.
  
• Proven experience leading large teams and managing complex, high-volume operations.
  
• Strong track record in cost optimization, operational excellence, process transformation, and KPI management.
  
• Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute at operational level.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  
• Strong English communication skills.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with automotive OEM / Tier-1 manufacturing.
  
• Experience in JIT/JIS, sequencing, kitting, line-side logistics, milk-run, or lean manufacturing logistics.
  
• Experience supporting greenfield manufacturing plants, production ramp-up, localization, or plant expansion.
