MANUAL QC/

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and business flows to create test plans, scenarios, test cases, and checklists.
• Proactively identify and clarify incomplete, inconsistent, or unreasonable requirements.
• Perform functional, exploratory, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate business flows, user permissions, data, integrations, negative cases, and unexpected scenarios.
• Test AI-powered features and evaluate output accuracy, relevance, completeness, consistency, and alignment with source data.
• Investigate defects, collect evidence, and collaborate with POs, BAs, Developers, and AI Engineers to identify possible root causes.
• Document defects clearly, assess their impact, and support pre-release and post-release validation.
• Use AI tools to support requirement analysis, expand test coverage, and prepare test data.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in Manual QA or Software Testing.
• Hands-on experience in testing web applications and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong logical thinking and the ability to analyze requirements and complex business flows.
• An exploratory mindset and willingness to investigate beyond predefined test cases or documentation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new products, domains, technologies, and changing requirements.
• Flexibility in prioritizing testing activities based on risks and project timelines.
• Good situational judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Clear communication, proactive questioning, and confidence in raising quality concerns.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, BA, Development, and other technical team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SaaS, LMS, EdTech, ERP, CRM, e-commerce, finance, insurance, or other business-rule-intensive systems.
• Experience with API testing, SQL, data validation, or production issue investigation.
• Experience working directly with international clients or stakeholders.
• Experience using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Codex, or similar AI tools.
• Basic understanding of chatbots, LLMs, prompts, RAG, or AI-generated content.
