Job Description
Job title: Machining Production Supervisor
Location: Da Nang High-Tech Park
Working time: 44 hours/ week
Job Purpose
- The main objective is the supervision, coordination, and efficient management of the production activities
- Be responsible for ensuring the execution of parts according to the quality standards required by the manufacturing specifications
Responsibilities
- Team Management: Coordinate and manage the production team to achieve set objectives.
- Planning and Organization: Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling production activities.
- Process Optimization: Utilize advanced quality techniques such as Lean Six Sigma to optimize processes.
- Information Flow: Ensure effective communication between the department and other company departments.
- Technology Management: Develop technologies and organize processes to fulfill orders within stipulated deadlines.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise processing operations performed by subordinate staff and intervene as necessary.
- Performance Reporting: Report daily on process performance and causes of unplanned stoppages.
- Staff Scheduling: Schedule subordinate staff on machine tools and manage leave requests.
- Resource Provisioning: Ensure the section has the necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
- Quality Supervision: Responsible for the quality of parts and technologies applied within the section.
- Deviation Analysis: Analyze process deviations and implement corrective measures in accordance with internal regulations.
- Equipment Records Management: Maintain records of service equipment, including name, manufacturer, commissioning date, and maintenance activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in machining operations.
- Proficient in English, both speaking & writing
- Good knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, tolerances, notes, and specifications.
- Strong communication, training, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, people, materials, and timelines effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and present or share information clearly.
- Responsive to requests from managers, clients, and employees.
- Result-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
