Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities

Legal Compliance

• Ensure that manufacturing and business operations comply with applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to the environment, fire prevention and firefighting, construction, and safety.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities in providing explanations, handling inspections and audits, and resolving legal matters.
• Prepare and review documentation for license applications and amendments, and to meet regulatory requirements.

Resolution of Legal Matters

• Coordinate with legal consultants and service providers to resolve legal matters as they arise.
• Provide relevant documents and information; monitor progress and evaluate consultants performance. Recommend appropriate approaches to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Participate in dispute resolution as needed.

Legal Risk Management

• Review and identify legal risks in investment, manufacturing, construction, and factory operations.
• Advise on measures to prevent and address legal risks.
• Monitor new laws and regulations, assess their impact, and recommend appropriate adjustments to the Company's operations.

Legal Records Management & Reporting

• Manage and maintain legal records, inspection and audit documentation, and dispute files in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Provide periodic and ad hoc reports on the status of legal matters and the Company's legal risks.
• Recommend measures to improve the effectiveness of legal management and mitigate risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Law. Lawyer Practicing Certificate is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 - 7 years of legal experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing companies.
• Proven experience handling legal matters related to environmental regulations, fire safety compliance, construction, licensing, and industrial operations.
• Strong background in contract management, dispute resolution, and corporate legal advisory.
• Candidates must have hands-on legal experience within manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, food ingredients, agriculture processing, or related production environments.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese laws and regulations applicable to manufacturing businesses.
• Excellent legal analysis, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently to operating sites and project locations.
