Legal Counsel

The Legal Counsel role provides high-quality legal support to management and business teams across Vietnam and the wider Asia and Oceania region. Working fully remotely, the position advises on corporate, commercial, labour, and compliance matters while collaborating with legal teams and senior stakeholders across different countries.

Responsibilities

• Advise management and business teams on corporate, commercial, labour, and compliance matters
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents
• Support legal matters related to operations, sourcing, transportation, sales, and distribution
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes and advise the business on potential risks
• Develop and improve legal templates, policies, and processes
• Provide practical legal solutions while considering business needs
• Work with legal teams and senior stakeholders across different countries
  
  

Requirements

• Valid licence to practise law in Vietnam
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience
• Advanced knowledge of Vietnamese civil, commercial, and labour law
• Ability to translate legal concepts into practical and actionable advice
• Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English, both verbal and written
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments within tight timeframes
• Experience working in a multinational or manufacturing organisation is desirable
• Fluency in Chinese will be an advantage
