About the Role
MindChamps is seeking a capable and motivated Legal & Contract Manager to support our international operations and drive legal and contractual excellence across the organization. You will play a key role in managing contract negotiations, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting business growth through proactive legal advice.
Flexibility to work remotely from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, or other provinces in Vietnam. Occasional travel to our Head Office in Singapore may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide contract advice on a broad range of commercial issues.
- Prepare, negotiate, review, and advise on all aspects of contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Work closely with the legal team in all legal matters to support operations across jurisdictions
- Develop and implement procedures for contract management and admission, including document control, template use, and tracking of key contract milestones.
- Handle ongoing contract issues and change management and recommend changes and best practices to improve legal and commercial outcomes.
- Support due diligence and compliance requirements in cross-border transactions or partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with departments including HR, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure legal alignment across all functions.
- Prepare legal briefs and internal documentation as required for senior management or external counsel.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Law with 3 years of Post-Qualified Experience as an in-house lawyer, contract manager, or with a reputable commercial law firm.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Excellent Command of English written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and an eye for detail.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial law, and regulatory frameworks applicable in Vietnam and Singapore.
- Confidence in handling confidential information and sensitive matters with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic contract management tools.
