Job Description

Were looking for a Legal Manager ready to grow with MoMos new-ish player in the securities industry CVS.

This position is ideal for professionals who are customer-focused, commercially minded, and open to legal and regulatory change. The ideal candidate must be able to provide practical legal solutions that support responsible business innovation.

In your role, you will also supervise an executive-level legal team member, providing leadership and coordination in day-to-day legal operations, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory interaction.

What You Will Do

1. Legal Advisory & Risk Control (Securities Focus):

  • Advise business units on legal aspects of securities products and services;
  • Review contracts, product documentation, and transaction structures for legal risks and regulatory compliance;
  • Provide guidance on the legal feasibility of new products in a context where regulations may be limited or evolving;
  • Give clear, practical legal advice that helps teams move fast safely;

2. Regulatory Compliance & Document Governance:

  • Draft, review, and update internal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable laws and best practices;
  • Monitor and interpret developments in securities regulations and propose timely legal solutions for the business;
  • Be the legal link to regulators, ensuring we stay compliant while doing things differently;
  • Ensure that legal policies and frameworks are responsive to regulatory change and aligned with the companys innovation roadmap;

3. Disclosure & Governance Support:

  • Assist in preparing regulatory disclosures and communications for shareholders, the Board of Directors, and relevant authorities;
  • Support the legal aspects of information disclosure requirements, particularly in relation to public offerings or fundraising activities;
  • Coordinate with internal governance functions and compliance teams to ensure transparency and accuracy in legal disclosures;

4. Dispute & Issue Resolution:

  • Support internal teams in resolving legal disputes, customer claims, or complaints involving securities products;
  • Help manage responses to regulatory inquiries or inspections, and coordinate external legal counsel when necessary;
  • Be the go-to legal voice for securities-related issues;

What You Will Need

Education:

  • Securities practitioner certificates or a Lawyers Practicing Certificate are preferred;

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of legal experience in financial services or banking industry, with at least 3 years in securities field;

Skills & Mindset:

  • Business-savvy, curious, comfortable navigating ambiguity and finding real-world answers;
  • Open-minded and not averse to change, especially regarding evolving legal and regulatory frameworks in fintech and securities;
  • Strong legal drafting, risk analysis, and stakeholder communication skills;
  • Team-oriented, with a proactive, problem-solving attitude;
