Position: Physical Laboratory Manager (Consumer Products - Toys)
Reporting Line: Operations Laboratory Manager
Team: Physical Laboratory
Work Location: Ho Chi Minh City
Job responsibilities
- Testing, monitoring and urge product testing process to ensure the testing is done exactly as requested;
- Create Work Instruction, SOP, Form for new method, procedure;
- Ensures the laboratory delivers results as scheduled and as agreed with the client;
- Responsible for PT, internal and external correlation testing requirements, ensure the result correctly;
- Develops and validates analytical methods, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other operating, safety and quality documents as needed;
- Update on new standards, new testing methods and new demands from customers;
- Provides technical support to Sales, Customer Service and clients regarding testing, reporting or technical inquiries;
- Yearly, prepare necessary documents, record, process for ISO 17025 audit and accreditation.
Job requirements
- Master or Degree holder of Physics or Mechanical Engineering;
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 and accredidations body;
- Must 6 years or abobe working experience in physical testing (toys) laboratory;
- Strong knowledge of various international testing standards of toys (especially in ASTM F963 & EN 71 is an advantage);
- Good trouble shooting and supervison, leadership skill;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Vietnamese;
- Analytical mind and logical thinking;
- Initiative, organized and able to work independently.
