Our client is a fast-growing logistics company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
1.Sales Leadership and Strategy
- Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies across Vietnam to achieve targets for revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
- Manage, mentor, and coordinate a nationwide team of sales professionals, ensuring their efforts align with organizational goals and sales performance standards. Monitor performance metrics, provide continual guidance, and nurture a results-driven sales culture.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set and implement both short-term and long-term sales objectives, ensuring their effective accomplishment.
2.Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain sectors throughout the country.
- Strengthen market presence in key industries by offering customized logistics solutions including air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, and distribution services.
- Work closely with regional clients, ranging from SMEs to multinational organizations, to thoroughly understand and address their logistics needs.
3.Key Account and Customer Relationship Management
- Oversee key account planning and growth initiatives nationwide to maintain and strengthen strategic client partnerships.
- Participate in major client meetings and assist the team with complex negotiations when necessary.
- Ensure superior customer satisfaction and loyalty through proactive service and consistent follow-up.
4.Reporting and Performance Monitoring
- Provide regular updates to senior management detailing:
- National sales forecasts and key performance indicators
- Customer pipeline status and conversion metrics
- Market intelligence and competitive landscape insights
- Financial and operational results connected to client accounts
5.Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with departments such as Customer Service, Operations, and Finance to guarantee smooth delivery of customer solutions and compliance with service commitments.
- Align field sales initiatives with broader organizational campaigns, pricing policies, and operational capabilities.
6.Collections and Compliance
- Supervise and assist the team in managing payment collections to ensure timeliness.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, corporate policies, and applicable legal regulations by the sales team.
Requirements
1.Educational Qualifications:
- Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2.Work Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years professional background within the logistics or supply chain sector, with at least 2 years serving in a leadership capacity managing sales operations across multiple regions.
- Experience in freight forwarding and logistics industries is required.
- Proven success in managing and developing relationships with high-value clients.
- Experience providing comprehensive logistics services (air, sea, warehousing, distribution) is required.
- Preferably experienced working with both local SMEs and multinational corporations.
3.Skills and Competencies:
- Strong capabilities in leadership, coaching, and managing sales team performance.
- In-depth knowledge of the Vietnamese logistics market and related commercial factors.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation.
- Advanced analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency in English and/or Chinese is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Vietnam as business demands.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
