Job Description

JUNIOR OFFICE ACCOUNTANT (23 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

Role Summary

The Junior Office Accountant is responsible for supporting daily administrative and accounting tasks to ensure smooth office operations. This includes organizing and managing both physical and digital records, maintaining accurate financial documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and local regulations. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach and a solid working knowledge of accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

Handle daily administrative tasks to support office operations

Organize and manage both physical and digital documentation

Assist with general office organization and workflow coordination

Prepare and submit HR-related reports and documents as required by law

Accounting and Compliance

Maintain accurate financial records and assist with bookkeeping

Process invoices, receipts, and monitor payment tracking

Prepare financial reports in line with legal and company requirements

Support VAT and tax declarations in compliance with local regulations

Ensure payroll-related accounting is accurate and up to date

Assist with internal audits and financial checks as needed

Business Process & Accuracy

Ensure accuracy in administrative and accounting data

Manage the submission of government-related documentation (e.g., product announcements, regulatory filings)

Support improvements in documentation processes and reporting consistency

Contribute to small process improvements in office operations and accounting workflow

Requirements

Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

23 years of experience in an administrative or accounting role

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and office processes

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Technical Skills

Solid understanding of accounting practices and financial reporting

Familiarity with VAT, payroll, and local tax regulations (required)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)

Experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, MISA) is a strong advantage

Language Skills

  • Basic English required (both verbal and written)
