Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 23 years of experience in accounting, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial principles. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate posting in the accounting system
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts monthly
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for month-end closing
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage and verify invoices, payments, and expense claims
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with local regulations (e.g., VAT, PIT, CIT)
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation
- Maintain proper filing of accounting records and documents
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues
- Other tasks as assigned by the Accounting/Finance Manager
Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1- 2 years of experience in a general accounting role
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., MISA, Fast, SAP is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Intermediate English (reading and writing financial documents/emails)
