Java Developer Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Java Developer Intern who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in software development within a professional working environment. You will work closely with experienced engineers to develop, maintain, and enhance Java applications while building a strong foundation in backend development.

Responsibilities

· Assist in developing and maintaining Java applications and RESTful APIs.

· Fix bugs and implement new features under the guidance of senior developers.

· Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

· Write unit tests and support efforts to improve application quality.

· Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

· Learn and follow software development best practices and coding standards.

Required Qualifications

· Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Good understanding of Java fundamentals, including:

· Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

· Collections Framework

· Exception Handling

· Basic Multithreading concepts

· Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).

· Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.

· Experience with Git version control.

· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Good English reading skills for technical documentation.
