The IT Infrastructure Officer is responsible for maintaining and securing the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint. This role ensures system reliability, data protection, and workflow automation while supporting business operations and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Systems Management:
- Manage and maintain infrastructure systems including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments
- Monitor and secure network connections across branches, and remote sites
- Implement and manage security tools (firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, DLP, MFA) and respond to threats
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response procedures
- Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, including site creation, permissions, and content management
- Design and implement workflow automation using SharePoint and related tools
- Ensure compliance with security standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and maintain audit records
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure and security issues
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize infrastructure and security architecture
Troubleshooting and Support
- Provide technical support for end-users and troubleshoot issues related to security issues.
- Employee Training and Awareness: Conduct training and awareness programs to educate staff on security best practices, phishing threats, and safe online behavior.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams to design secure infrastructure and recommend security improvements.
- Incident Response & Documentation: Leading incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and post-incident reporting, to ensure lessons learned are integrated into future security planning.
Qualifications
- English level: Good
- Possessing CCNA, MCSA certificates is preferred
- Having experience in the infrastructure/security role
