Job Description
Job purpose
Ensure the stable and smooth operation of the company's IT systems, end-user devices, office equipment, and software applications. Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, ensuring day-to-day IT issues are resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
End user support (L1/L2)
- Receive, log, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues both onsite and remotely using tools such as UltraViewer, AnyDesk, and TeamViewer, covering hardware, operating systems, and application software.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365/Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive, as well as internal business applications.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot meeting room equipment, including projectors, TV displays, microphones, and video conferencing cameras.
IT equipment deployment & management
- Prepare and configure Windows/macOS computers for new employees, including standard software installation and security policy configuration prior to handover.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral devices such as network printers, scanners, attendance machines, and IP phones.
- Perform basic network cabling, LAN port connectivity checks, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting across working areas.
Account Administration & Onboarding/ Offboarding
- Coordinate the creation, configuration, and access provisioning of email and internal accounts, including Active Directory and Microsoft 365 accounts, for new employees.
- Retrieve IT assets, disable user accounts, and back up data for departing employees in accordance with the company's handover and offboarding procedures.
IT Asset Management & Documentation:
- Identify, label, maintain, and conduct regular inventory checks of IT assets, including computers, monitors, components, and spare accessories.
- Create basic technical documentation, including User Guides and FAQs, to help employees troubleshoot common IT issues independently.
- Support the IT Administrator in system upgrades, IT infrastructure improvements, and periodic software deployments.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networks, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in IT Helpdesk or IT Support within a corporate environment.
- A strong technical foundation and a willingness to learn are also welcome.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in PC/laptop hardware installation and troubleshooting, as well as Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Solid understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, and Wi-Fi, with the ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues at workstations.
- Hands-on experience with basic user account administration through Microsoft 365 Admin Center or Windows Server Active Directory is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of diagnosing hardware component issues, including RAM, SSD, and motherboard, as well as performing basic hardware replacement and upgrades.
Soft Skills & Personal Attributes:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with patience and a strong internal customer service mindset.
- High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and strong awareness of information security and confidentiality.
- Basic English reading comprehension, particularly for technical documentation.
Location:
5–7 D52 Street, Bay Hien Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: Online; on-site attendance is only required when necessary.
