Internal Accountant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Internal Accountant role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Internal Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate general ledger records. The role involves preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting documentation for internal reviews and audits. The Internal Accountant will monitor expenses, assist with budgeting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. This position also supports process improvements, coordinates with other departments to resolve accounting issues, and provides financial data for decision-making by management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and local tax regulations.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to organize workload, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in an internal accounting or similar role; experience in manufacturing or distribution environments is an advantage.
