Job Description
What you will do
- Lead residential interior design projects (Apartment/Villa/Show unit) from concept to delivery, ensuring design quality, consistency, and client satisfaction.
- Translate client lifestyle needs into strong design solutions: space planning, concept direction, material & color palette, and décor styling.
- Own the quality of key outputs: concept deck, design guidelines, 3D direction, drawings review, ensuring alignment with budget and timeline.
- Present design proposals to clients; confidently explain design rationale and guide decisions on materials, finishes, and furniture selection.
- Coordinate with Project team, Costing/QS, Procurement, MEP, and Site teams to ensure feasibility and smooth execution on site.
- Monitor progress, manage design changes, resolve issues, and drive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Manage workload and priorities for Concept/3D designers; assign tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
- Mentor and support team members; set clear standards for aesthetics, detailing, and deliverables.
- Review deliverables and provide feedback to maintain a high-quality output.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Architecture (or related).
- 5+ years in residential interior design, including 2+ years at Senior/Lead level (leading design delivery and/or a team).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, 3Ds Max.
- Solid knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, furniture & décor; understands basic construction/fit-out details and Design & Build workflow.
- Strong concept thinking, good taste, and ability to balance design – budget – practicality.
- Strong communication & presentation skills; able to work directly with homeowners/clients.
- English communication is a plus.
- Experience with high-end apartments/villas or show units.
- Strong portfolio showing concept thinking and completed residential projects.
