Inspection & Product Certification Specialist

Location: Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh city, Hanoi, Bac Ninh)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical inspections of machinery, equipment, and industrial products, particularly those involved in import and export activities.
• Conduct inspections of new and used machinery and equipment, including verification of technical specifications, condition, identification, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Review technical documentation, product specifications, test reports, and conformity assessment records.
• Support product certification activities, including technical evaluations and verification of product conformity.
• Identify and interpret applicable technical regulations , national standards, and relevant international standards (ISO, IEC, etc.).
• Prepare inspection reports, technical assessment reports, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, manufacturers, laboratories, and relevant authorities on technical and regulatory matters.
• Support the development of inspection procedures and product certification schemes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Practical experience in machinery and equipment inspection, particularly for imported and exported machinery.
• Experience in product inspection, product certification, or conformity assessment activities.
• Good knowledge of technical regulations, national standards, and relevant international technical standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, product specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Understanding of Vietnamese regulatory requirements relating to imported machinery, equipment, and industrial products.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17065 is an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical, and technical reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and conduct on-site inspections when required.

Language & Candidate Requirements

• Local candidates based in Vietnam only.
• Professional fluency in Vietnamese is mandatory.
• Working proficiency in English is an advantage.
