We are supporting a leading FTSE 100 global FMCG organisation seeking an experienced Innovation Project Manager to deliver new product development and innovation initiatives in Vietnam.

Working in an international, cross-functional environment, you will manage projects from initial concept through development, production readiness, and commercial launch.

The Role

You will provide end-to-end project leadership across a portfolio of innovation and NPD initiatives, bringing together technical, commercial and operational teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing innovation and new product development (NPD) projects through the complete project lifecycle.
• Establishing project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies and governance.
• Coordinating stakeholders across R&D, Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain, Procurement and Manufacturing.
• Managing stage-gate processes and ensuring projects are appropriately prepared for key decision points.
• Identifying and managing project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinating product development with manufacturing readiness and commercial launch requirements.
• Driving accountability across project teams and ensuring actions and deliverables remain on schedule.
• Providing clear project reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Managing multiple projects and workstreams within a fast-paced innovation environment.
• Supporting improvements to NPD and innovation processes where required.

About You

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with demonstrated experience delivering innovation, product development or product launch initiatives.

You will ideally bring:

• Strong project management experience gained within FMCG, consumer products or a related sector.
• Demonstrated experience delivering NPD, product innovation and/or product launch projects.
• Experience managing projects across concept, development, production readiness and commercial launch.
• Knowledge of stage-gate or structured product development methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with R&D, Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain and Manufacturing stakeholders.
• Strong project planning, governance, risk management and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience operating successfully within a multinational or complex matrix organisation.
• Strong professional English communication skills appropriate for regional and global stakeholder engagement.

The Opportunity

This contract offers the opportunity to work with a major global FMCG organisation on strategically important product innovation initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders across local, regional and global teams.

The role would suit an experienced Innovation Project Manager, NPD Project Manager or Product Development Project Manager with a strong track record of turning product concepts into successfully delivered commercial launches.
