Job Description

I'm building HYGILOG, a SaaS platform for the hospitality industry, helping hotels and restaurants manage food safety, hygiene, cleaning, staff operations, and maintenance.

The product is already built and entering a new stage.

We have:

• Web platform—Admin & Client portals

• iOS & Android mobile apps

• Backend & APIs—NestJS / Node.js

• AWS + MongoDB

• NFC / QR integrations

• Bluetooth printer integrations

• Excel / PDF / CSV exports

I'm preparing HYGILOG for its first pilot hotels in Vietnam, and I'm looking for a senior developer who can take ownership of the technology and help me move the product forward.

What you'll do

→ Understand and audit the existing codebase

→ Fix critical issues, especially roles & permissions (RBAC)

→ Stabilize the mobile, web, and backend applications

→ Review AWS, database, and deployment architecture

→ Improve documentation and development processes

→ Help prepare the product for real-world hotel testing

→ Make technical recommendations for scalability and security

→ Continue developing new modules and features

The foundation is already there, your role is to strengthen it and help build what comes next.

About design

The design foundation already exists.

You will:

· Review the existing UI

· Identify UX improvements

· Refine screens where needed

· Work with the founder, who will guide the product vision

You don't need to be a designer. But you should be comfortable improving UX/UI.

Who I'm looking for

A genuinely senior developer with experience across backend + web + mobile, comfortable taking an existing product, understanding how it works, and making practical technical decisions.

Experience with Node.js, NestJS, React, Flutter/React Native, MongoDB, AWS, Git/CI/CD, and RBAC is highly relevant.

Hospitality tech, NFC/QR, or Bluetooth experience is a plus.

More importantly: independent, pragmatic, curious, proactive, and able to explain technical subjects clearly to a non-technical founder.
