Human Resources Specialist

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Position Overview

Terraverde Travel is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Specialist to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end HR services-including recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, training coordination, and compliance-ensuring that we attract, develop, and retain a high-quality workforce aligned with our mission and values.

Main Responsibilities:

Draft and post job adverts; screen CVs and coordinate interviews

Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding schedules

Maintain and update personnel files in MISA AMIS (digital & paper)

Administer payroll data, verify timesheets, and manage benefits enrollment

Coordinate training sessions, track attendance, and evaluate outcomes

Support performance appraisals and follow-up with managers

Process visa/permit documentation for expatriates and foreign staff

Prepare HR reports: headcount, turnover, and other HR analytics

Manage exit interviews and ensure smooth offboarding procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, or related fields

At least 3 years HR generalist experience (preferably in tourism/service industry)

Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor law & HR best practices

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS is a plus

Analytical mindset with ability to generate actionable HR insights

Good command of English (written & spoken)

Highly organized, service-oriented, discreet, and trustworthy

Positive, resilient, and a strong team player with a can-do attitude
