About the Company

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Human Resources Specialist to oversee our human resources functions and office operations. In this role, you will act as a primary business partner, managing the employee lifecycle, coordinating with our Employer of Record (EOR) for payroll inputs, driving general HR initiatives, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office administration.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Human Resources Specialist to oversee our human resources functions and office operations. In this role, you will act as a primary business partner, managing the employee lifecycle, coordinating with our Employer of Record (EOR) for payroll inputs, driving general HR initiatives, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office administration.

Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to attract top-tier talent aligned with company culture and growth goals.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, write compelling job descriptions, and determine sourcing strategies.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, coordinate stakeholder schedules, and manage the candidate experience from application to onboarding.

2. Payroll Support & EOR Liaison

  • Compile, verify, and finalize monthly payroll attendance sheets, leave records, and variable compensation data.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to liaise closely with our Employer of Record (EOR) to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Address and resolve any employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, or tax documents in coordination with the EOR provider.

3. HR Generalist Operations

  • Serve as the go-to resource for employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, probation tracking, and maintenance of confidential personnel records.
  • Support employee relations, performance management processes, and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.

4. Office Administration

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-resourced working environment.
  • Manage relationships with office vendors, building management, and service providers (e.g., IT equipment, supplies, utilities).
  • Coordinate office logistics, meetings, internal events, and facility maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in HR especially Talent Acquisition role (startup team experience is a strong plus).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with local labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Experience working with Employer of Record (EOR) structures and managing attendance-to-payroll pipelines.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HR generalist functions (onboarding, employee relations, policy implementation).

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
