Roles

  • Supports the Country General Manager in fulfilling the HSE responsibility and ensures that all applicable HSE legal and the company HSE requirements are implemented.
  • Supports the company HSE implementation and contributes to continuous improvement for the Country.
  • Guides and leads the organization in the planning, execution, ongoing analysis and improvement of HSE related measures
  • Collaborates with Country GM, Country Management Team, Project management team and other support functions and services as well as all relevant interfaces globally to achieve the HSE objectives
  • Monitors and controls HSE related reporting in the Country. Monitors HSE performance from all business-related activities in the Country. Oversees that incidents are recorded and investigated correctly and all corrective actions closed.
  • Contributes in implementation of HSE related risk management, of workplace assessments and of HSE work environment committees applicable to the scope of the activities in the Country.
  • Ensures adequate HSE related communication towards internal and external stakeholders and authorities as well as internally between the different HSE functions in the Country

Key Responsibilities and not limited the following:

  • Develop and Implement Country HSE Policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Conduct HSE Inspections and Audits to windfarms to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with GWI HSE requirements.
  • Conduct Risk Assessment to Identify and assess occupational risks specific and propose preventive and corrective measures
  • Provide HSE Training, HSE Awareness, HSE programs and HSE campaigns on HSE issues for all employees.
  • Conduct Incident Investigation, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Develop Emergency Response and ensure all staff are trained and aware of these protocols
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and ensure company operations do not harm the local environment or wildlife
  • Coordinate with project managers for HSE matters and coordinate risk prevention activities
  • Coordinate Monthly Country HSE/Carbon Account System reports to Asia HSE function team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Local HSE regulations and international standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • NEBOSH certification or relevant certification ISO 45001, 18001, 14001
  • Minimum 5 years HSE experience required.
