About the position
Marou is looking for an HSE Executive responsible for supporting and ensuring the effective implementation of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) practices at Marou Factory. Acts as the point of contact for all HSE and operational audit matters at the Factory, ensuring the safety of people, assets through proactive risk management, compliance with legal and corporate standards, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and mitigate safety, health, and environmental risk through audit, date analysis, and preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain contingency, emergency response, and business continuity plans.
- Lead safety awareness and training programs, including onboarding for new staff, contractors and regular drills.
- Oversee security, building safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits (HSE, operations, social compliance); track corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate master data and ensure safety communication across all levels.
- Establish and monitor stock security controls to prevent losses.
- Prepare and manage the HSE & Operational Audit annual budget.
- Participate in developing and updating processes, regulations and related rules according to laws, international standards, customer and company requirements.
- Manage and monitor the declaration and inspection of machinery, equipment, materials and chemicals with strict requirements on occupational safety and hygiene.
- Organize periodic environmental monitoring and archive records in accordance with legal regulations.
- Manage the work of the medical room, first aid and health monitoring of all employees.
- Collect data and periodically report on HSE work internally and externally.
- Support additional tasks assigned by Line Manager to meet company goals.
Qualifications
- College degree or higher in OHS, Environment or Engineering. HSE certificate is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Management Safety, OHS, preferably in the food industry
- Well-versed with all local Environmental, Safety and Health regulations
- Proactive and good organizational and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to relate to employees at all levels
- Able to use English for work-related communication
